Working from home comes with many perks.
A day like today spent in pyjamas with the heater cranked right up is a prime example.
By the way, even if you use all three panels on your gas heater, you’re still getting around 30 hours out of that nine-kilogram gas cylinder.
Then there’s the joy of not having to dip a toe into the traffic pool, with speeding taxis and BMW drivers allergic to using their indicators now somebody else’s problem.
Perhaps the rise of working from home is one of the reasons we’ve seen fewer road rage incidents in recent times, with a nasty incident in Jozi back in May seemingly linked to a mental health breakdown.
There’s no denying that this short and not-so-sweet incident from King County, Washington, involving a Jeep driver who lost the plot, is road rage in its purest form.
More via Q13:
King County deputies responded to a road rage report of a suspect throwing an axe at a driver near Interstate 5 on July 27…
Authorities were able to identify the Jeep driver from additional surveillance video. Three days after the incident, the suspect was arrested for multiple felonies after fleeing Snohomish County deputies.
Pretty hard to deny your involvement when this was caught on dashcam:
Who throws an axe?
This is why I never trust people who drive without a shirt on.
Aside from the road rage incident, the 47-year-old suspect was also wanted on charges of a felony hate crime, felony eluding, and theft.
He also had an outstanding felony warrant for first-degree robbery.
When you consider his rap sheet, it makes the axe-throwing even dafter.
