A vicious attack occurred in Erasmia, Tshwane, yesterday.
In a video that spread across social media, a black Mercedes-Benz can be seen trying to escape a white BMW 1 Series before crashing into a pole.
The occupants of the white BMW then get out to attack the Mercedes by kicking the doors down and throwing rocks and bricks at the windows.
After some time, the man in the Mercedes is dragged out and attacked, and can be seen lying on the ground.
Other cars passing by stop to see what is happening, not knowing that there was also a gun involved:

Although we don’t see the moment, it is revealed that the Mercedes driver was shot on the scene, reports TimesLIVE. The man was taken to hospital after the ordeal and remains in critical condition.
Gauteng police confirmed the arrest of one person suspected of being involved:
Police spokesperson Capt Mavela Masondo said that shortly after the incident was reported to the SAPS, a vehicle fitting the description of the suspects was spotted in the Johannesburg CBD.
One suspect was arrested and a firearm believed to have been used in the shooting incident was recovered, Masondo said.
While the motives behind the incident are still not known, the Erasmia police station has opened a case of attempted murder.
