Britney Spears posted an Instagram video yesterday, and many are undecided as to whether we need to be concerned or just as excited as she is.
In the video, the 39-year-old pop star exclaimed, “Okay, guys, great news. I got my first iPad today, I am so excited.”
Her enthusiasm for her new iPad is, quite frankly, unmatched, referring to the day as “groundbreaking” and that it “feel[s] like my life is changing as we speak.”
iPads are obviously incredibly nifty pieces of technology, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a new owner quite as astonished as Britney.
Spears told fans that while her sons, Sean Preston, 15, and Jayden James, 14, “have owned one” for a while, she never had an iPad for herself, reports Page Six.
Somebody should have told her about Digicape’s trade-in option, which allows you to choose a new iPad by trading in your pre-loved one(s) and financing the balance.
The video then somehow segues into a recreation of Bridesmaids, with Britney pretending to be drunk in her hot pink new heels (which she is also terribly excited about) and a black jacket.
Go on then, give it a watch:

The fact that she was looking a tad dishevelled, even though she said it was a result of working in the yard a moment ago, has fans concerned.
Personally, I could feel my maternal instincts kicking in when watching the video.
Britney is still struggling to rid herself of the conservatorship that has controlled her life for the past 13 years. She does have a new lawyer now, and together they are once again filing against her father as the co-conservator who controls all aspects of her life.
In the meantime, she has been using her Instagram to spread her wings and open up more. Another recent posting spree raised some eyebrows with photos of her topless in the yard.
Then again, perhaps we can learn a thing or two from her childlike wonder.
