You have to feel for all of the parties involved here, other than the people watching on, who were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime sighting.
Two leopards in Dulini Private Game Reserve in the Sabi Sands clearly weren’t put off by the presence of vehicles, and were about to settle in for a mating session when they were rudely interrupted.
An impala comes crashing into the picture, and is swiftly dealt with by the male leopard, reports Getaway.
Social media users responded with humorous tongue-in-cheek comments.
‘Dinner first, please,’ one follower commented. ‘Instead of Netflix and chill it’s Netflix and kill!’ was another comment.
‘You see our moms were right…the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach,’ someone added.
Alright, enough of that.
Here’s the video, as captured by an onlooker:
To paraphrase Monty Python, that impala is no more, has ceased to be, has expired and gone to meet its maker, has kicked the bucket, and shuffled off its mortal coil.
Never miss a chance to quote the Dead Parrot sketch.
