There’s only a handful of people in the world who get to say that they want to be voicetramentalist when they grow up.

Not many even know what that means, and even fewer can actually pull it off.

Michael Winslow, one of the stars of the 1980s movie franchise Police Academy, certainly ticks all of the boxes.

To say Winslow has a knack for making sound effects without any tools is putting it lightly.

He can almost literally blow an audience away… with the sound of something that blows up.

He first showcased his skills when he featured in Police Academy. Here’s a selection of some of his funniest moments:

CNN now reports that Winslow gave Hollywood a break after his wife passed away, in order to look after his children, but he never lost his incredible vocal talents.

Now, at the age of 62, he is making some noise on America’s Got Talent:

His son recognised that he might be the perfect fit for AGT and he definitely did not disappoint.

He received “four gigantic yesses” from the judges, so he is moving on to the next round, perhaps accompanied by the sound of a luxury jet, which I’m sure he could imitate if he so wanted.
