What’s the best way to get back at a cheating boyfriend who had multiple secret relationships?
Making friends with the other women and travelling in a renovated school bus across the country sounds like a pretty neat plan.
That’s exactly what Bekah King (18), Morgan Tabor (21), and Abi Roberts (19) (in that order above) did after they found out that they had all been dating the same boyfriend.
They wasted no time in ditching him, saving up money, renovating a 30-year-old school bus, and renaming it the BAM bus after their initials, reports CNN.
Then it was onwards and upwards for the trio who chose to move forward with a road trip across America.
It was on a cold, snowy afternoon in Boise, Idaho, December 2020, when Tabor leaned into her suspicions and began the trip of discovery.
She searched her boyfriend’s social media accounts and found photos of another woman on his VSCO photography app.
Tabor describes the soul-crushing feeling of realising she had been lied to, and of losing the life she had imagined, but reached out to the other girl anyway.

Together they searched for more girls and eventually stumbled upon Roberts via social media comments and likes on the boyfriend’s accounts.
She had also unknowingly been dating the same person and felt crushed when she found out.
The three of them quickly became best friends, chatting on a six-hour FaceTime call, and then:
Tabor heard a knock on her door. She looked outside and saw their cheating boyfriend standing at her door with flowers.
“He wanted to surprise her. Morgan grabs the flowers, puts them on the floor, and was like ‘I made some new friends today’ and showed him her phone with the two of us on FaceTime,” Roberts, who lives in lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, said. “His face just dropped. It was so priceless to see.”
After offering excuses and explanations — including one where he said he believed it was OK to be with multiple women at the same time — the girls dumped him. Together.
After the breakup, they found that he had been dating six women in total.
King, who lived nearby, had been casually dating him for five months:
“Two hours after they confronted him and he promised to never talk to another woman again and said he was a changed man, he reached out to me and asked to hang out,” King, 18, told CNN.
“The next day, the girls found my Instagram and messaged me and we immediately hopped another five hour call.”
Then, the ball started rolling.
They realised their shared dream of exploring the country in a fixed-up bus and focused on moving forward:
“We have moved on to the next chapter of our lives. It’s all about our adventure, our growth, and where we go next,” said Tabor, referring to King and Roberts as the fourth girl couldn’t make it for the trip.
Together they saved $5 000 and turned an old school bus into the BAM bus over a couple of months:

On June 25 they began the trip of a lifetime, starting in Idaho and moving east.
They soaked in hot springs, hiked in mountains, dipped in lakes, frolicked in fields, camped in national parks, and had an all-around “surreal” experience as Roberts said:

This has to be one of the best ‘F-you and thanks very much’ ever given to a lying, cheating man by his exes.
