John Dillermand is not your average children’s cartoon.

The name of the show pretty much sums it up. In Danish, “diller” is slang for penis, so Dillermand’s name translates as ‘John Penis-man’.

You may recall that we covered the controversy around the cartoon back in January, but now John Oliver has caught wind of it.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver is still on hiatus, but the host couldn’t help himself.

In a video uploaded yesterday, Oliver explained why the children’s cartoon resonates with him so much.
