Don’t worry, non-football fans – we are almost done with the Euro 2020 final stuff.
You’ve seen the front page headlines following England’s penalty loss to Italy (‘Anyone for conkers?’ the clear winner).
You’ve also seen the videos of English fans behaving very, very poorly. Don’t stick a flare in your behind, kids – it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.
One thing you wouldn’t have seen, at least on the live broadcast, was a pitch invader who made his way onto the field during the final stages of the second half.

One more angle, which is a 40-second clip repeated twice:
He’ll be hit with a whopper of a fine, and likely banned from watching football in England for many years.
But hey, at least he scored his 40-odd seconds of fame.
