Dudu Zuma-Sambudla wants a war.
At least that’s what it looks like from her recent Twitter posts, with one from earlier this morning particularly worrying.
With her father, Jacob, in the slammer, Zuma-Sambudla has been encouraging ANC supporters to shut down KwaZulu-Natal.
Protesters have been seeing burning tyres on a number of busy roads in Empangeni, north of Durban, although SABC News reports that police in the area have denied that these are Zuma supporters making a point.
Zuma-Sambudla shared this at 7:30AM:
Until @PresJGZuma is FREE. SAFE. ALIVE! I agree with this Amandla ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽!!! #FreeJacobZuma Azishe Cdes! pic.twitter.com/nDpoyM1gbU

Here’s the worrying tweet, which she has since deleted.
Thankfully, somebody captured it before she did:
Yes, that is President Ramaphosa on a poster, being blasted with gunfire:

Pretty tough to see that as anything other than a genuine attempt to incite violence.
KwaZulu-Natal has seen so many political assassinations in recent times that the province has been dubbed the ‘killing fields’.
Dudu has somehow done the unthinkable and made Don Jr., Eric, and Ivanka appear to be well-adjusted children of a former president.
She also shared this video:

Again, the messaging is clear.
Zuma-Sambudla has been at it all week – you may recall these from the days before her father’s arrest:
We are descendants of Shaka Zulu.
We are first going to deal with these idiots that have been sent by WMC to come and piss in our backyard, and then because you provoked us, we are coming for our land…and we will start in Stellenbosch… pic.twitter.com/VI43gKzxrf— Dudu Zuma-Sambudla (@DZumaSambudla) July 2, 2021

Here’s a fun fact about that video with the gun, via Africa Check:
Google search reveals that the video was first posted on 7 December 2019 by the Spanish-language Venezuelan news outlet Sumarium. It’s credited to Venezuelan news outlet Cima360…
The audio in the original video includes a song that is not in isiZulu or any other South African language…
It was taken in Venezuela in 2019 and the audio has been manipulated.
Also manipulated – those who protest in support of a former president who sold the country to the highest bidder, spurred on by people acting only in their own best interests.
Carl Niehaus, fresh off his arrest on live TV, has pledged that “throngs of the Zuma supporters” will converge on the Constitutional Court in Johannesburg on July 12 to show their support.
Given that it’s likely the adjusted alert level 4 restrictions will be extended beyond the original 14-day period, I hope law enforcement is waiting to arrest him once more.
