What starts out as a pastiche thriller set on a plane overtaken by terrorists suddenly becomes a gripping supernatural horror where the hunters turn into the hunted.
The newly released trailer for Netflix’s Blood Red Sky shows the hijackers taking control, before a mother aboard the plane turns into a vampire.
Nadja, played by Peri Baumeister (The Last Kingdom), doesn’t just have a rare blood disorder, she’s also the “last vampire” and has to call upon her monstrous powers to stop the terrorists and save her son.
Wait for it…
Ultimately, Nadja faces a choice between revealing her dark side and saving her child, or keeping her inner monster hidden from him.
Blood Red Sky will be on Netflix on July 23.
