America’s Got Talent has seen its fair share of quick-change performers.
But one 25-year-old French woman was a little more special.
Léa Kyle was the winner of Heidi Klum’s golden buzzer, and she’s clearly an incredibly talented magician.
Kyle wowed the crowd, and especially the judges (Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Sofía Vergara) when she was introduced to AGT in late June.
On Tuesday’s episode, she also won Klum’s stamp of approval.
Kyle struts the stage, flicking her handmade costumes on and off at a speed that seems impossible.
Per Good Housekeeping, the judges were absolutely gobsmacked:
“We’ve seen quick-change artists on this show, but I’ve never seen one better than you,” Howie told Léa at the conclusion of her performance.
“To see the outfit fly from the hanger to you, its magic and your presentation is beautiful.”
Klum was so taken with Kyle’s ability to swap her clothes faster than a model backstage at a fashion show that she decided Kyle deserved to progress straight to the AGT Season 16 live shows.
Let the magic begin (around the 2:20 mark):
And I thought I was fast, changing into my stretchy house clothes after a day in tight jeans.
Kyle discovered her gift about eight years ago thanks to her partner, Florian Sainvet, also a magician and contestant on one of AGT‘s past seasons.
She has built a magical career since then, receiving recognition and many accolades for her talent and hard work.
To name a few – she came out tops at the Villebarou International Festival, she won the title of French Champion in the French Magic Championships, and she also was able to fool Penn and Teller on Penn and Teller: Fool Us.
She also competed on France’s Got Talent last year.
