This R18,3 million property, perched on the beautiful coastal cliffs of Knysna’s Eastern Heads, presents one with a First World Problem.
On the one hand, sitting on that outside patio, gazing down at the waters below with a drink in hand, is a serious vibe.
However, the five-bedroom (all en-suite) “private paradise” also comes with a cracking bar, which lends itself towards “lavish entertaining”.
Those quotes come from the Property24 listing, which also talks of “Romance under Romanesque archways, barrel-vaulted ceilings, [and] classically-fashioned vast windows [that] peer across a vast blue ocean”.
But first, the bar:
As long as there’s a TV within eyesight, and those opened sliding doors do allow for a view out to the ocean, as we see on the left of this shot:
More on the property:
On its own level is the master suite and alongside this the current art room, which could make a private slipper-lounge, where there is easy space for a coffee station and cosy TV prospect.
The next level serves 4 bedrooms all en suite. The study is a magnificent show-case on its own. A kitchen with everything you need and more that has excited and perfectly provided for international chefs to show off their culinary skills.
Double-volume living areas, bar, vast patio are impossible to capture on film – to see it, is the way to fall in love with this stately home and its admirable architecture that has captured its views implicitly.
Sadly, there aren’t too many images of the property.
We do have this, showing the view:
I think that settles it.
Patio one, bar nil.
