While some people walk the streets in South Africa with their phones hidden in pockets or crevices that an opportunist won’t dare think about, others don’t resort to such measures.

But of course, there are consequences to having your phone visible; they must either say goodbye to their devices or put up a fight to keep them.

One brave woman put up a rather impressive fight outside a Spar Tops recently when a passerby snatched her phone from her hands, reports The Citizen.

Although they mention that the exact location and time of the incident is unclear, CCTV footage shows the whole scene unfold, which apparently left the store’s security team rather impressed.

The tables turned in a rather inspiring way when the woman pushed and chased after the phone thief, who was probably left with more nerves shaking than the lady.

Even after falling to the ground, she refuses to give up, with others eventually coming to her aid.

It is unclear if the woman retrieved her cellphone in the end, or if the man was caught and arrested.

But one thing is for sure, she definitely taught him a lesson.
