If you’re looking for more drama from TV news anchors, then season two of The Morning Show might satiate your craving.
The American drama series starring Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell started out on Apple TV+ in 2019 and has since become a hit with major star power.
The series has received Emmy Award and Screen Actors Guild nominations, and even secured a SAG win for Aniston as lead actress, as well as a supporting actor win for Billy Crudup.
After production was paused due to COVID-19, season two was delayed, but it is finally going to be released soon.
Mashable has more on what we can expect:
The Morning Show‘s engaging first season ended on quite the cliffhanger: Alex Levy (Aniston) and Bradley Jackson (Witherspoon) went rogue on air to call out their show’s toxic work environment.
A dramatic teaser for the series’ second season gives a gripping peek at the fallout from the co-host’s bold, brutally honest PSA.
Levy is seen telling Cory (Crudup) she’s not returning to the show. Jackson is visibly unravelling as she struggles to keep up with the ever-changing industry. And The Morning Show‘s former cohost, Mitch Kessler (Carell), is seen discussing his sexual misconduct accusations.
Let’s have a look-see:
Season two will premiere on September 17 exclusively on Apple TV+.
