To some, life is cheap.

Take for example what happened on Tuesday night (June 1), at around 7:22PM.

Leaked CCTV footage shows the parking lot outside Premium Sports Bar, at the corner of Amandel and Dagbreek Street in Westridge, Mitchells Plain.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Andre Traut has confirmed that a 33-year-old man was shot and killed, reports The South African, with the suspect still at large.

The footage is disturbing for a number of reasons, not least of which is how casually the hit goes down.

Again, a warning that this doesn’t make for easy viewing:

Chilling stuff.

May 19 this year marked five years since the former owner of the bar, Calvin “Kabolie” Goliath, was shot and killed during a robbery of the premises.

That case is still ongoing at the Mitchells Plain Regional Court, with Donald Conrad facing murder, attempted murder, and robbery charges.
