Kanye West has got to be one of the more eccentric celebrities out there.

The hip-hop artist/fashion designer has even likened himself to Jesus before, with that Rolling Stone cover of himself wearing a crown of thorns sufficient evidence.

Suddenly the name of his album Yeezus makes sense.

There’s also that time that he ran for the US presidency, which didn’t go very well.

His fashion is also next-level, with his clothing line being perfect for the zombie apocalypse:

So his appearance in a rather offbeat get-up to hide in public last Thursday is understandable.

Mr Yeezy was seen in a peculiar street-style outfit, making his way around Los Angeles wearing what looks like an artist’s rag over his head:

Despite the strange way to go incognito, he wasn’t so difficult to spot, reported Page Six:

While the 43-year-old hip-hop star may have hoped his get-up would help him go unrecognised, but it was hard to miss the Chicago artist, who combined the blue, white and brown balaclava with a pair of Yeezys, a navy-colored shirt and matching denim jeans.

Many also noticed that he was no longer wearing his wedding band because, you know, he and Kim Kardashian are going through a divorce right now, even though he was seen to be wearing it as recently as April in a photo shared on social media by his rapper friend DJ Khaled.

Things are obviously getting real for him.

Anyway, one might wonder if this strange balaclava is a hint at what’s to come in his much-anticipated Yeezy Gap line, set to drop by the end of June.
