Let’s run through how to enter once more:

• Place a horse racing bet to the minimum value of R20, on your cellphone betting account or play in any Hollywoodbets branch, countrywide
• Stand a chance to win a Golf 8 GTI or your share of R200 000 in betting vouchers.
• Each ticket number can only be entered once.
• Every horse racing bet for R20 or more, will be counted as an additional entry. Entries are not limited.
• Single bets on horse racing and multiple bets, which include at least one leg on horse racing, will be accepted. This includes all “Open bets,” “Open Exotics” and “Fixed Odds” bets.
• The winners will be selected randomly via a draw from all valid entries.

Betting voucher winners will be drawn on the following dates:

• June 11, 2021: Day before the Gold Challenge Race Meeting (50 winners each winning R1 000)
• July 2, 2021: Day before the Durban July (100 winners each winning R1 000)
• July 30, 2021: Day before the Gold Cup (50 winners each winning R1 000)

The vehicle draw will be done on August 1, 2021.

If you’re driving away in a brand new Golf 8 GTI, and all you did was place a R20 bet, I’d say you’ve picked a winner, no matter where your horse placed.

1. The draw for the vehicle will be done on 1 August 2021.
2. The prizes include 200 x R1 000 betting vouchers. Winners without a Hollywoodbets betting accounts will be called on his/her cell phone. If the contestant does not answer within 30 minutes, then another valid entry will be drawn and selected as the winner. Winners with existing betting accounts will be sent an SMS (there is no time limit to react to the SMS).
3. The betting voucher will be paid into the winners’ Hollywoodbets accounts. If the winner does not have a Hollywoodbets account, they will be required to open one.
4. For the duration of the competition, entrants are limited to winning one betting voucher only. The winners of the betting vouchers will remain eligible to win the car.
5. Winners will be announced on the day of the draw.
6. All draws will take place at Hollywoodbets Head Office supervised by an internal auditor.
7. All winners will be announced at approximately 16:00 on the day of the draw.
8. Betting voucher prizes will be transferred into the winners Hollywoodbets account within 5 days from the date of the draw.
9. Prizes are non-transferable.
10. The car prize will be a 2021 Golf 8 GTI.
11. Hollywoodbets will not insure the car.
12. Hollywoodbets is not responsible for any warranties, maintenance or services or any other potential liability relating to the car.
13. The vehicle will be branded for 6 months in Hollywoodbets branding.
14. The winner must allow Hollywoodbets a reasonable time period to arrange for the car to be ordered, registered and licensed in his/her name and must provide Hollywoodbets with all information and original documentation required for this purpose, including an Identity Document together with a valid driver’s licence in respect of the winner or his or her nominated driver.
15. Hollywoodbets will only cover the cost of flat-bedding the vehicle to a major centre within South Africa (Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth) where the winner will need to collect the prize, unless otherwise agreed upon.
16. By entering the competition, you agree:

• that Hollywoodbets may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the competition;
• to receiving communication from Hollywoodbets’ sponsors and partners;
• to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your names and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.

Hollywoodbets and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents.
2. Every entrant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.

This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of all of the above.
4. By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants, users and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
