Humans are not the only species that enjoy some artificial sweetness.
Honey bees, too, will do anything to get their little suckers on a fizzy drink.
In a viral video first shared on Twitter, two little bees worked together to twist off the cap on a Fanta Orange bottle.
An astounded onlooker managed to capture the moment that they used their front legs to slowly dislodge the cap from the bottle.
The original tweet has since been deleted, reports The Independent, but has now been uploaded on YouTube.
It was filmed in São Paulo, Brazil, on May 17:
Translated, the woman is saying:
00:00 – The bees teamed up to steal my soda
00:04 – And they will do it. Look, so smooth.
00:06 – Darn it!
These busy little insects are known for their incredible intelligence, hard work, and teamwork. Bees are obviously still attracted to the sugariness of a fizzy drink, even though it is not a natural source of nectar.
I guess they’re also forced to adapt to new environments and food sources for survival:
In fact, bees work together to form hives and can fly as far away as 5km to find flowers and other sources of nectar, according to The Conversation.
Twitter user Buitengebiden, who shared and deleted the original video that went viral, also shared this:

I’d be happy to give them a small sip of my drink, anytime.
