A bunch of American YouTubers visited our lekker country recently and created a bucket list video of things to do here.
The video has close to 12 million views already, in just over a week, with tons of comments from people saying that they want to visit South Africa, and also many South Africans saying how proud they are to be Saffas.
Dude Perfect, the YouTube channel in question, features five buddies from Texas and their talented camera crew, who do a very good job of showcasing all the wonders of our country – from the seas to the mountain tops, with a bit of culture and wildlife in between.
They had 12 items to tick off on their bucket list for South Africa, with “save a rhino” being an unexpected and welcomed addition.
As per SA People, they were meant to travel to the country last year, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, their trip was pushed out to March this year.
After negative COVID-19 tests, the team made their way over to shoot what is now their second video in their Bucket List series.
Take it all in:
They have over 56 million subscribers on YouTube and some South African fans even got to meet them on their trip:
The guys said that “even after all the amazing things we experienced in South Africa, some of our absolute favourite moments were meeting some of you guys – our incredible fans.”
So kiff, man.
