So, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are known to enjoy some light trolling in their relationship.

A few years back, they had the birthday banter Instagram posts, where they cropped the birthday person out of the birthday posts.

Then, in Lively’s Instagram story posted not so long ago when they went to a Yankees baseball game, she captioned an image of herself and her husband by writing “I love meeting fans”.

She also uploaded a cheeky video on Valentine’s Day of Reynolds colouring her hair during quarantine, writing, “That time I f**ked my hairdresser.”

So cute, you guys.

The more recent tease came from Reynolds, who honoured his wife and mother of his children in a Mother’s Day Instagram post.

He starts off tenderly, giving a sweet and loving tribute to Lively as the mother of their three kids – James, 6, Inez, 4, and Betty, 1.

Then he adds in a quip about some anonymous airport sex, which might have made Lively blush if she didn’t basically play a sex goddess in Gossip Girl.

Who knows, though, maybe the comment was too close to home, and Reynolds did actually get her good.

All in good taste for Mother’s Day, too, I suppose.

I am sure that’s not where it’s going to end, as Lively will probably take advantage of her turn coming up any moment now *cough* on Father’s Day, perhaps.
