Hayley Hasselhoff is the first ‘curve model’ to be on the cover of Playboy magazine’s German edition.
Why does that name sound familiar?
She’s David Hasselhoff’s daughter, of course, and just like him, she is getting a lot of attention.
She has been modelling as a ‘curve model’ since the age of 14, and now at the age of 28, she gets to play bunny on the cover of Playboy.
Here’s the cover, which Hayley shared on Instagram, shot by legendary fashion photographer Ellen Von Unwerth:

Side note: for the modelling industry to be more inclusive and body-positive, many are rather opting for the term ‘curve model’ instead of ‘plus-size’.
Playboy has featured curve models on a cover before, back when they were referred to as plus-sized models.
There was Fluvia Lacerda, who became the first plus-size model to grab the cover spot of any Playboy magazine in 2016, for Playboy Brazil.
Following on from that was Molly Constable, as the first plus-size model to be featured in the American version of Playboy in 2017.
Pop superstar Lizzo did a whole thing for the magazine in 2019.
Not to take the spotlight from you, Hayley, but it is good to see a prominent men’s magazine celebrate women of all sizes and shapes over the years.
Here’s more of Hayley out and about:
More? Absolutely:
Hasselhoff’s feature came just in time for May, the month for mental health awareness, as she spreads the body-positive message.
“I feel empowered to be able to wake up and know that I get to live unapologetically myself…” she said.
There’s no flattening this curve, folks!
