Molly Yeh, who has her own show on the Food Network called Girl Meets Farm, is currently out there building the case for a popcorn salad.

Yes, you read that right – the base of the salad is popcorn with a sauce made from mayonnaise, cream, mustard, apple cider vinegar, and veggies.

Molly claims it is “so Midwestern, so quirky and so delicious”.

Terri Peters made her own popcorn salad for TODAY Food and said she “wasn’t mad at it”.

In fact, she was going back for more and more bites.

On the other side of the coin, we have a clip shared by Cody Tapp on Twitter, which according to the Hindustan Times got pretty heated.
