Here we go again.
We’re coming to the end of a full week of Royal Family stories after Harry and Meghan tossed a grenade at the monarchy’s PR department and then exited the stage, leaving us with the aftermath.
We all have a bit of Royal fatigue at the moment, but let’s soldier on through the last trickle of ‘bombshells’.
We live in hope.
The tabloids will tell you that Prince William “has broken his silence”, which sounds like he sat down to his own interview and provided a carefully thought out analysis of the situation.
Obviously, that’s not what happened.
Here’s The Guardian with his statement in full:
“We are very much not a racist family.”
Well, I’m glad we can put this all behind us.
Watch that moment play out:
Here’s a longer video so that you can also watch Wills and Kate going about their duties, on a tour of School 21 in Stratford, east London, on Thursday, to mark the resumption of classes this week.
They were also launching the rollout to secondary schools of a mental health project that Kate started in 2018.
There’s clearly tension between William and Harry at the moment.
When asked about William by Winfrey, Harry said: “The relationship is space at the moment.” He added: “And time heals all things, hopefully.”
“I love William to bits, he’s my brother, we’ve been through hell together, we have a shared experience, but we were on different paths.”
William said that he would be contacting Harry soon.
I’m sure we’ll hear all about it from a ‘palace insider’.
In the meantime, please revisit and enjoy Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford, who reports on the weather, calling Piers Morgan out during a live broadcast for his predictably petty take on the situation.
All that, because Piers was ghosted by Meghan and has never quite recovered.
