Marilyn Manson is used to being in the news for controversial reasons, but the latest reports have been beyond anything that we’ve seen before.
The musician was dropped from his record label following accusations from ex-fiancé Evan Rachel Wood, of sexual and psychological abuse.
Since she posted her statement on Instagram, four other women have come forward, per The Independent, including Ashley Walters who says that she continues to “suffer from PTSD”, Sarah McNeilly who wants to see Manson “held accountable for his evil”, a woman going by ‘Gabriella’ who describes “trauma”, and Ashley Lindsay Morgan who says that she “suffers from night terrors” due to her alleged experiences with him.
There’s also Manson’s ex-girlfriend Rose McGowan, and former porn star Jenna Jameson says Manson ‘fantasised about burning her alive’.
Statements like Wood’s have a way of opening up the floodgates.
