Inclement weather seems to be causing a fair bit of trouble across the globe.

The Kruger National Park had to evacuate and close down a number of camps and roads after Cyclone Eloise hit Mozambique and then moved into South Africa, causing flooding last week.

In America, heavy rains in California, coupled with snow, took out a huge chunk of Highway 1 after it caused a massive flow of debris to cascade down the hill.

Thankfully, no one was hurt, and no cars were caught up in the washout.

Per CNN, California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) officials said in a statement on Friday that the damage was due to “overwhelmed drainage infrastructure”, which flowed “across the highway, and eroded the road”.

The bit of what was formerly highway ended up in the sea.

The damage was discovered on Thursday and a warning was issued telling motorists to stay off the road.
