Welcome to 2021.
When the clock ticked over at midnight on New Year’s Eve (no worries if you didn’t make it to midnight, you’re not alone), things didn’t instantly get better.
In fact, we’re still in this battle against the pandemic for the long haul, and everybody needs to play their part.
Whilst you cannot take a stroll on Camps Bay Beach, you can still treat yourself to two burgers for the price of one.
Sometimes it pays to count the small wins.
Every Tuesday, from lunchtime through until the kitchen closes, Café Caprice is running their Two-For-One Burger Special.
Look at that patty:
You, a friend, a physically distanced table, and a view of one of Cape Town’s most famous strips.
(And if you want to eat both yourself, I won’t judge. Whatever gets you through this.)
Free-range beef, crispy bacon, cheddar, chilli oil, and onion rings – The Royal Burger is calling my name, but I’ll let you peruse the menu and make your own call.
There will be no welcoming in the sunset with a few cold ones, but Café Caprice does have a wide range of non-alcoholic cocktails to ease the pain.
No need to be a few toots deep to enjoy this, right?
