As January 20 edges ever closer, expect President Donald Trump to stir up controversy with some contentious announcements, largely aimed at ‘owning the libs’.
It’s finally dawned on him that he lost the election, although he’ll never publicly admit that, and it’s eating him up inside.
Republicans are slowly backing away, congratulating president-elect Joe Biden and encouraging Trump to allow for a smooth transition, his legal team is an embarrassment, and he’s even been fooled by a fake Twitter account pretending to be his sister.
How about this exchange, which took place yesterday inside the White House, when Reuters correspondent Jeff Mason pressed him on his baseless widespread voter fraud conspiracies.
Toys out the cot from the 25-second mark:
JUST IN: President Trump snaps at reporter objecting to the President’s false claims about the election: “You’re just a lightweight. Don’t talk to me that way. I’m the President of the United States. Don’t ever talk to the President that way.” pic.twitter.com/RbTKItjs9L

That is a man taking strain.
Anyway, let’s deal with this Joe Exotic, Tiger King, nonsense.
First up, Trump retweeted this video from Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz, a staunch ally, where the latter mentions that Trump could pardon himself, and even Joe Exotic:
President Trump should pardon Flynn, the Thanksgiving turkey, and everyone from himself, to his admin, to Joe Exotic if he has to.
The Left has a bloodlust that will only be quenched if they come for those who fought with @realDonaldTrump to deliver for the American people. pic.twitter.com/wdTfu3Xwmp

More context, via VICE:
The mention of Joe Exotic, the star of the hit Netflix show Tiger King, is a reference to a New York Times report this week that says Trump is being lobbied for a pardon by attorneys for the 57-year-old, who was given a 22-year jail sentence for plotting a murder-for-hire and various wildlife-related crime.
Just the sort of pardon you should be focusing on in your final two months, right?
Whoever handles Joe Exotic’s social media accounts has been gunning for a pardon, and gunning hard.

❣️Morning’ cup of Joe❣️
I am a real person who has been screwed by this system, I am not a movie, not a film or an object to profit from. My mom has died, I have lost 2 years with Dillon, my dad is dying and my life is ruined. When will this nightmare end. @DonaldTrump pic.twitter.com/Aj3THPYN3l— Joe Exotic (@joe_exotic) November 24, 2020
Of course, the quickest way into Trump’s good books is money, which Joe’s team also has covered.
This from the New York Post:
Advocates for Joe Exotic — the ex-Oklahoma zookeeper convicted of trying to hire a hit man to kill rival Carole Baskin — have spent $10,000 at President Trump’s hotel in a desperate bid to get the commander in chief to pardon him, according to a new report.
The eye-popping bill at Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC was reported by the New York Times on Wednesday.
You can read that full report here.
It’s not hard to see the similarities between Trump and Joe Exotic – Trevor Noah has pointed them out – so let’s finish with a rather frightening image:
