Occasionally, justice is swift, but for the most part, it’s a slow-moving process.

In the case of murder accused Gerhard Jansen van Vuuren, the process all but stalled after he fled to Brazil before he could face trial for the murder of his ex-girlfriend, 25-year-old Andrea Venter.
