Black Friday is almost upon us, so get ready to buy things you didn’t actually need at prices that sound great but aren’t that much cheaper than at any other time of the year.
Yes, there will be some great deals out there, but you’ll also find loads of duds dressed up as something special.
All that aside, if you’re considering booking a domestic flight, today might be the day to it.
According to BusinessTech, Kulula and British Airways are offering discounts on flights until tonight (November 24), at 11:59PM.
The discounts are available for the travel periods between December 1, 2020 and October 20, 2021.
I’m not saying the deals on offer are far superior to what you’ll find shopping around elsewhere, but you can do the hard work of looking around after you’re done here.
Let’s start with the Kulula offerings, correct as of 11:25AM:
Flying Cape Town to Jozi, and vice versa, for less than R750 is a pretty sweet deal.
Those prices are one way, include all taxes and free 20kg baggage, and are subject to availability.
You can see the rest of the specials here.
British Airways is offering these specials, again correct as of 11:25AM:
Those prices are one way, include all taxes and free 23kg baggage, and are subject to availability.
Also, good news for those who enjoy kicking back before taking to the air:
The reintroduction of British Airways’ flights will also see the reopening of the group’s SLOW lounges.
Initially, the domestic lounges at King Shaka International, Cape Town International and OR Tambo International will open. The other lounges will reopen as the flight schedule expands.
If you let me into the SLOW lounge, I will eat far more than is necessary. These are the rules.
Anyway, just thought we’d give you a heads up about those flight specials. Use it, don’t use it.
