Joe Biden will be the 46th president of the United States of America.
Yes, there will be recounts, and yes, there will be court cases, but neither will change the fact that Donald Trump has lost his bid for re-election.
At first, it appeared that Fox News was on board with this fact, announcing live on air that Biden was now the president-elect.
Some anchors even implored Trump to resign and show grace (the very idea is farcical), and various voter fraud allegations were shot down in real-time by Fox reporters stationed across the country.
Last night, Fox News even cut away in the middle of a live media briefing by White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, echoing other networks that had done the same when the current president claimed victory last week.
Let’s watch that play out, with host Neil Cavuto making the call to cut away:

Sorry, White House Barbie, your days are numbered. Same thing for Nepotism Barbie, otherwise known as Ivanka.
According to the Washington Post, showing some journalistic integrity comes at a price:
Some of Fox’s news personalities have received heightened threats in the past week, as Trump supporters have targeted them online and in emails and phone calls for appearing not to back the president, two Fox staffers said.
It’s almost like these people don’t understand what reporting the news actually entails.
Judging by the above, you’d think that Fox News has made its stance clear, but not everybody is feeling that ‘reporting the facts’ vibe.
Vanity Fair below:
“The radical Dems are also working with the corporate-owned left-wing national media, doing their very best to nullify the votes of 71 million Trump voters. And let’s be very direct, many are trying to steal this election from President Trump,” [Fox Business host Lou] Dobbs seethed during his Monday night show, saying that the only “doubt is the extent of” the election scheme.
The campaign that booked the wrong Four Seasons is going to find mass voter fraud. Sure thing.
Other Fox News personalities like Maria Bartiromo, Laura Ingraham, and Mark Levin have also peddled misinformation live on air, and there seems to be a divide between employees themselves.
Here’s a great example of that in live time:

Imagine working for Fox News and acting surprised that your network would allow this to happen?
It appears that Fox wants the best of both worlds, appearing to push back on some voter fraud misinformation whilst at the same time drip-feeding its viewers just enough to keep them hooked.
Once Donald Trump officially leaves the White House, it will be very interesting to watch which route it takes.
This seems like a good place to finish:
