When trying to find out whether or not someone is truly happy in their place of work, ask them if they’d recommend their company to friends and family.
This was one of the questions asked of participants in a survey, released on a rolling basis from June to July to determine a list of the world’s best employers.
Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to compile a list of 750 companies by surveying 160 000 full-time and part-time workers from 58 countries, who work for businesses with operations in multiple nations or regions.
Participants also rated their satisfaction with their employers’ COVID-19 responses and scored their employers on the company’s image, economic footprint, talent development, gender equality, and social responsibility.
According to the data, here’s who made the top 10:

According to BusinessTech, construction company Aveng’s position is unexpected considering the knock that it took while trying to survive the lockdown, as well as internal operational issues that bumped it from the position as the country’s largest construction group.
However, what this year’s rankings have made evident is that the way that companies responded to the health and safety of their employees played a massive part in how they fared in terms of employee satisfaction.
