Working from home comes with many perks, one of which is waving goodbye to the daily slog through traffic.
Yes, there are podcasts and some sub-par local radio stations to help pass the time, but it only takes one brief moment to send the stress levels soaring through the roof.
As much as we all tut-tut when watching road rage videos, most of us can relate to that ‘red mist’ feeling, but keeping it in check is what prevents us from ending up in the news.
Both of these road rage attacks are from Australia, and both happened this week.
The first took place in the west Sydney neighbourhood of Chullora on Monday afternoon, reports 7News:
The attack occurred after a blue and a black car collided at an intersection…
Witnesses say the drivers of the orange and blue cars were armed with wheel braces and were smashing cars in between punches.
This doesn’t reflect well on any of the parties involved:
The second road rage incident, which took place yesterday evening in Findon in Adelaide’s north-west, resulted in a woman being arrested on charges of aggravated assault causing harm.
It’s alleged that the woman stabbed a 53-year-old man in the stomach after an altercation at an intersection.
According to ABC News, she will face the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on December 17.
Here’s the footage:
Sort it out, Australia.
At this stage, it’s looking safer to be out on the water than it is to be on the road.
