If you’re looking for something that is mind-numbingly mundane, while reminding you that you’re getting on in years, you’ve come to the right place.
The Beckham kids, whom most of us can remember as babies, are adults now, and therefore old enough to make out with people in public, get engaged, and legally drink.
The same can be said for Jude Law’s children.
I’ll just book myself a place at the nearest care home for the elderly, shall I?
In a bizarrely short article in The Daily Mail, they claimed that “their spies” witnessed Brooklyn Beckham’s ex, 23-year-old Hana Cross, kissing Jude Law’s 24-year-old son Rafferty (yes, that’s his real name) at “a trendy pub in Notting Hill”.
A “witness” said that “they were kissing like no one was looking”.
The witness was looking, though, like a creeper.
Friends of the couple provided some deep insight into the relationship, and why Hana has moved on to Rafferty:
“He’s the hottest guy in London right now. He’s the singer of rock band Outer Stella Drive, he’s playing Oliver Twist in a new movie with Rita Ora, and he’s in a film with his dad.”
All legitimate reasons to date someone.
Beckham has moved on to model Nicola Peltz, to whom he is engaged, so I don’t think he cares.
Rafferty wasn’t the only Law child to land up in The Daily Mail, though.
Apparently, Iris Law “displayed her natural good looks in a blue cut-out bikini as she leaned on the side of a boat”, while on a “sun-soaked getaway” with her mom, Sadie Frost, to celebrate her final week of being a teenager.
Also, as you shall see below, it’s not a cut-out bikini, it’s a cut-out one-piece.
She’s 19 years old, in case you were wondering, so I can’t help finding the description of her “svelte physique” a little uncomfortable.
Here are the pictures which she posted on Instagram. You can scroll through the photos if you’re so inclined:
It looks like the articles on Rafferty and Iris will be the first of many.
Welcome to the world of tabloid ‘spies’, kids.
It’s an uphill battle from here.
