Fridays aren’t for restrained financial thinking.
I’m not saying you should go out tonight and burn through your entire salary, but if we’re going to look at properties, we’re aiming big.
Over on Pam Golding, we thought we’d look at the most expensive Cape Town property listed.
Surprisingly, nothing cracks the R100 million mark, but this four-bedroom whopper in Camps Bay will set you back a cool R97,75 million.
That leaves you a little change to buy one of those F1 simulators we touched on yesterday.
Alright, let’s check out the Camps Bay crib, with some of the features talked up in the listing:
State of the art cinema with sound coming from Wisdom Audio speakers and Trinov amps. Huge outdoor deck with massive bar area overlooking the ocean views.
Large swimming pool and cocktail pool on the top floor. Italian Flos & German Delta lighting throughout.
American Walnut wine cellar. Exotic fish tank with imported fish. Furniture imported from Milan, showcasing the brands Flexform, Paola Lenti, B&B Italia and Giorgetti.
High-tech security system. Tastefully selected valuable art and decor.
That’s the state of the art cinema mentioned earlier.
Great for when you’re sick of the incredible views. It’s nice to dream, isn’t it?
For those of us in the real world, that sort of living is probably beyond our reach, but you can live large for a day if you win the competition below.
A R50 000 summer experience, and a R5 000 summer wardrobe, to wear during your two-night stay at the President Hotel, a cruise on a catamaran, and sundowners at Café Caprice.
People from across the globe pay very good money to visit the strip. It would be rude not to join in.
Lovely. Just lovely.
See the post below for details on how to enter the summer experience competition:
That competition closes next Friday (October 23), and multiple entries are allowed.
Get tagging – you can take a friend so you’re doing them a favour.
By the way, if you prefer your properties with a little more privacy, we’ve also had a look at the second most expensive property listed on Pam Golding.
Just R92,5 million for a spot in Bantry Bay, so less wind is pretty much a guarantee, and you’re tucked away amongst the green belt.
Like a treehouse on steroids:
You can see more pictures of that beaut here.
That seems like a fine place to snap back to reality (Oh, there goes Rabbit, he choked, He’s so mad, but he won’t give up that easy? No).
Sorry, Eminem got the better of me there.
