If you happened to swing past Dan Bilzerian’s Instagram account every so often (I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you don’t follow him), you’d be excused for thinking everything in his life was going rather well.

Women in bikinis, Dan in tiny shorts, boats, hot tubs, and so on and so forth.

The standard male teenage fantasies, and I’ll be kind enough to drop a screenshot of his account to save you the trouble of snooping yourself:

What’s interesting is that Dan hasn’t actually posted since August 31, and that might have something to do with the fact that his empire is rapidly crumbling.

We did touch on this back in July, but a few headlines this week have really driven the point home.

Let’s start with this Forbes article, headlined ‘Why Dan Bilzerian’s Summer Was Worse Than Yours’:

For the CEO of Ignite, a still-nascent and still-inchoate cannabis brand, the COVID-19 summer of 2020 has presented challenges aplenty. And if the last month is any indication, the autumn may be worse.

First came the news in July that Ignite was $50 million in the red, a financial hardship that forced Bilzerian’s company to agree to end the lease on his (rented, by the company) Los Angeles mansion, even as he was yachting around the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, shares in the company tanked, slipping from $1.44 (Canadian) to about $0.36 cents as of most recent trading.

…late last week, news broke that CannMart, a distribution company that moves Ignite-branded product in Canada—where Bilzerian’s firm is publicly traded—was ending its relationship with Ignite.

There have also been a number of leadership changes at Ignite, including four company presidents in less than a year, pointing to further trouble behind the scenes.

Bilzerian has been promising to release a new book since late August, but as of yet, there is no news on that front, either.

He also caught some heat last week for a tweet accusing Azerbaijanis of sodomising farm animals, whilst weighing in on the escalating tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Bilzerian is of Armenian descent and offered his support for their soldiers whilst denigrating Azerbaijan. The tweet was flagged for violating Twitter policies, and his account has now been suspended.

To really stick the boot in, YouTuber JAMARI uploaded a video last Thursday, spelling out how Bilzerian’s public image is a far cry from the truth.

His first video on Bilzerian pushed many buttons, and his latest video is nearing the million views mark, having triggered the Bilzerian bros once more.
