A video circulating on social media captured a horrific car accident that took place last week, at the intersection of Sydenham Hill and Essenwood Road, in Berea, Durban.
According to News24, Life Response’s Leon Fourie said that “on arrival, paramedics found that three vehicles collided”.
A Range Rover can be seen colliding with another vehicle, before striking a pedestrian who was standing at the intersection.
The pedestrian, a homeless man, was killed. Three other people, including the driver of the Range Rover, suffered moderate injuries.

Police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele has confirmed that a case of culpable homicide is being investigated.
