Well, I suppose it was only a matter of time until something like this happened.

Across the country, EFF members continue to shut down Clicks stores, ostensibly to protest a racist advert that has now been pulled from the retailer’s site.

Julius Malema and his comrades promised to attack, and that’s what they’ve done, with multiple stores damaged.

Earlier today, the Gauteng High Court granted Clicks an interdict against the EFF, with this from News24:

According to the interdict, the EFF or its supporters may not intimidate and threaten employees of Clicks working at its shops or any of its operations; intimidate and threaten Clicks’ customers visiting its shops, or incite violence against the ordinary commercial operations of Clicks.

Patrons at Walmer Park Shopping Centre in Port Elizabeth were left shocked on Tuesday morning when a scuffle between EFF members and an elderly woman resulted in a firearm being drawn.

Both parties were arrested but charges will not be pursued by either…

Port Elizabeth police have confirmed that no charges have been registered.

The firearm brandished below is licensed.

I’m not too sure how much the woman will enjoy being called elderly, though, as HeraldLIVE reports that she is 52 years of age.

UPDATE: EFF members later registered charges, and Diane Attwell appeared in court earlier today on a charge of pointing a firearm.
