As far as a lefty can like a billionaire, I’m very fond of Bill Gates.
He’s shown us his mettle throughout the pandemic, by knuckling down and committing his resources and cash to finding a vaccine.
Unfortunately, he has also had to spend a ridiculous amount of time fending off conspiracy theories from the tinfoil hate toters out there who think that he was responsible for the COVID-19 outbreak.
Amidst all of this, he found some time to do something special for his bestie, Warren Buffett, on his 90th birthday.
Before you watch the video, there are a few things that you need to know, per CNN.
Buffett is a huge fan of all things sweet, and has been known to chug a half-dozen cans of Coke every day.
Gates also recounts a story on his blog back in 2016 about the time that he caught Buffett eating an unusual breakfast:
“One thing that was surprising to learn about Warren is that he has basically stuck to eating what he liked when he was six years old,” Gates wrote.
“I remember one of the first times he stayed at our house and he opened up a package of Oreos to eat for breakfast. Our kids immediately demanded they have some too. He may set a poor example for young people, but it’s a diet that somehow works for him.”
The two of them met on July 5, 1991, when Gates’ mother invited him and Buffett to the family vacation home in Hood Canal, Washington.
They’ve been inseparable ever since.
Behold, the most wholesome thing that you’re likely to see this week:

Bless them.
This isn’t the first time that Gates has put together a video for his pal.
Last year, he decided to commemorate all of the fun things that he and Buffett get up to in a video entitled, “Thank you for being a friend, Warren”, set to Cynthia Fee’s cover of ‘Thank You For Being a Friend’, which served as the theme songs for the sitcom Golden Girls.
Go ahead and watch that one, too.
You’ve earned a little warmth on this freezing cold day.
