One of the duties required of you if you are part of the Royal Family, is the occasional trip out into the world to nod at and exchange pleasantries with the general public.
It’s generally a good idea to do this in a factory or at a contained event where circumstances can be controlled, and people can be neatly lined up, making it easier to get through it swiftly.
Things don’t always go to plan, though.
Prince Charles was off executing his duties at the Asda distribution centre in Bristol, with Camilla, when the man he was talking to fainted.
The Daily Mail with more:
The man had been introduced to Charles and the pair were exchanging pleasantries when he suddenly lurched from side to side before collapsing backwards to the ground to the Prince’s initial shock.
Watch it happen:
Charles makes somewhat of an effort to catch the man, then sticks around for a while to ensure that he’s okay, before one of the men helping him tells the Prince to keep calm and carry on.
He then moves on to the next worker, who stuck to her spot in the line despite the drama unfolding before her.
In the background, the man is then helped to his feet and escorted away from the marquee before making his return and standing alongside his fellow colleagues.
Back on his feet once again, the man smiles as he continues his conversation with the prince just minutes later.
Well, okay then.
I’m glad he recovered but I still have questions, like: WHERE ARE THE MASKS?
The Prince had COVID-19 earlier this year, but that doesn’t mean other folks shouldn’t be taking precautions.
