Welcome to the world, X Æ A-12.
Looks like somebody is likely to spend the majority of their schooling years being bullied, but with really, really rich parents to go home to.
Small victories.
Grimes gave birth to a baby boy earlier in the week, and people were quick to ask Musk about a name. Taking to Twitter, Musk caused much head-scratching with this:
Ah yes, of course.
More on the origins of the name via the Independent:
The unusual name has prompted many to question how it is pronounced, with one Twitter user suggesting: “X Ash Archangel.”
The user’s tweet explaining the origins of the name was liked by Musk, implying it could be correct.
The tweet suggests the name’s origins could have something to do with the Scandinavian alphabet, in which Æ is pronounced “ash”.
A-12 is thought to be a reference to the Lockheed A-12, a CIA aircraft codenamed Archangel.
In short, ‘X Ash Archangel’ seems to be the consensus, but we’ll have to wait to find out for certain about this inane little detail that has exactly zero bearing on my life, or yours.
Named after an aircraft? Oh well, at least he isn’t Airbus Musk.
Grimes later took to Twitter to shed further light:
At this stage, it remains unclear whether this is all a joke on the part of Grimes and Elon, or if that is the baby’s actual name.
Cue the memes:

Musk also shared an edited photo of X Æ A-12 with face tattoos:
I’m not sure what is more daft – the name X Æ A-12, or the fact that everyone is losing their minds over it.
Elon now has six sons, and zero daughters. His first five children were with Canadian author Justine Wilson, conceived through in vitro fertilisation – twins in 2004, followed by triplets in 2006.
Anyway, sweet dreams to the new little man on the block, whatever his name.
