Just when you think you’ve seen the worst reality television has to offer, or seen another example of a podcast you would only listen to at gunpoint, along comes this…

I would rather watch Love Island, or a repeat of the first Bachelor SA with Lee ‘I feel a connection’ Thompson, than watch a ‘reality’ show with the Zumas.

Still, those who blindly follow the former president are thrilled at the prospect of hearing from Jacob Zuma, and who better to interview him than his own son, Duduzane?

The clip below “appears to be a trailer of a reality show soon to be released in full”, reports TimesLIVE, and is almost guaranteed to make your blood pressure spike.

Here is some of what the Zumas discuss:

…the duo talk about wide-ranging political issues, including the treatment of deputy president David Mabuza in Russia for alleged poisoning and Duduzane’s role in it.

Zuma also comments about state capture, and denies his involvement in it, saying there is no shred of evidence implicating him.

Hang around until the end, and there’s even some bonus footage showing Duduzane mocking President Ramaphosa’s mask blunder from his last address.

The channel that shared the video, Vaultage TV, was created on May 2 (this past Saturday), and it’s the only video that has been uploaded.

Jacob Zuma was due to face corruption charges this Wednesday, but travel restrictions have forced yet another postponement, this time until June 23.

He claims he’s always wanted his day in court, but he’s wriggled off the hook more than a few times already to avoid just that.

Before that day comes, we can expect all sorts of nonsense to emerge, not least of which appears to be this so-called ‘reality show’.
