A fire on Kloof Street, which started above Arnold’s Restaurant, opposite the Lifestyle Centre, has gutted four apartments, and caused damage to a fifth.
According to IOL, the City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Service first received a call at 3:35AM, and it took almost four hours before the blaze could be contained.
The four apartments that sustained the most damage were located on the fifth floor, and no injuries were reported.
