When Prince was still alive, an invitation to visit his home of over four decades was the stuff of dreams for fans of the iconic musician.

Paisley Park doesn’t look like much from the outside. In fact, it looks like a government building or a fortress.

The inside, on the other hand, is pure Prince – flamboyant, over the top, and stylish.

This week marked four years since he passed away, which would ordinarily have seen fans descending on Paisley Palace to pay their respects.

Then COVID-19 made large gatherings impossible, so VICE took a look around Prince’s home on our behalf.
