No one really knows how the feud began.
Rumour has it, that Scarlett Johansson has something to do with it. She acts in pretty much everything now, so appearing in a fake feud, in the role of instigator, isn’t a stretch.
Whatever the cause, the amusing tension between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman is arguably even more entertaining than the ongoing rivalry between Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon.
Nevertheless, we all have to sacrifice something in these trying times, and Reynolds and Jackman are sacrificing their feud – for one day.
Over to The Independent:
In the pair’s most recent spoof video, Jackman – who portrayed Wolverine in the X-Men film franchise between 2000 and 2017 – and Deadpool actor Reynolds announce their participation in the All In Challenge.
The campaign is designed to raise money for America’s Food Fund amid the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, and those who donate will earn the chance to have Jackman and Reynolds fly to their home and help their children sell lemonade.
This isn’t the first time that they’ve called a truce. There was that one time at the start of 2019, but it didn’t last long.
Anyway, enjoy the ceasefire:
Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro also joined the All In Challenge by hosting a lottery to win a walk-on role in their upcoming film, Killers of the Flower Moon.
That’s one way to get a little self-promotion in with your charity work.
I’d rather sell lemonade with Deadpool.
