There’s nothing Piers Morgan hates more than a successful woman who couldn’t care less about him.
His favourite target is Meghan Duchess of Sussex, but with her and Harry’s new attitude towards the tabloids, his regular rants about her in the Daily Mail could fall on deaf ears.
Maybe he’ll finally seek out the help he needs to get over that time she allegedly “ghosted him”.
With a void to fill, now that Meghan has lawyers and Piers can’t risk losing his public platform, he has turned his attention to Victoria Beckham.
As the coronavirus outbreak continues to spread across the UK, a reported 25 members (some reports say 30) of Victoria Beckham’s staff have been put on the government’s furlough scheme.
Staff members at her fashion label have been told they will be paid 80% of their salaries by the government, while Beckham has chosen to forgo her salary entirely.
All of this is a bit iffy – the Beckhams are doing pretty well for themselves. Victoria has an estimated net worth of £360 million, so it’s unclear why she needed to make the staff cut.
Whatever her reasons, Piers is very upset about it, reports METRO.
The Good Morning Britain host shared a clip on Twitter of the designer during her appearance in the One World: Together At Home concert, where she and husband David Beckham introduced a performance from Elton John.
He added the following caption to the clip:
Perhaps more surprising than having a pop at Victoria Beckham has been Piers’ recent comments regarding Donald Trump.
He first slammed his ‘friend’ in a Daily Mail column, before this interview on CNN:
Earlier this month, Piers was defending Boris Johnson on Twitter, telling critics of the British PM to “Shut the f**k up!”, so he has some catching up to do.
At the end of March, he declared himself a changed man who wants to avoid Twitter wars and arguments, using the platform to “effect change for good”.
