No, that picture above doesn’t feature the Atlantic Seaboard.
That’s because News24’s video also features Hout Bay (where the beach dog walkers seem to have learned their lessons), Lion’s Head, the Blouberg beachfront, and the V&A Waterfront.
Usually, these spots would be rammed with tourists and locals alike, and I’m reminded of the great Instagram proverb, tweaking the classic ‘tree falling in a forest’ scenario…
“If you climbed Lion’s Head and didn’t post a photo that racked up at least 50 likes, did you even climb Lion’s Head?”
I shudder to think of the Lion’s Head rush post-lockdown. Brace yourselves.
Anyway, let’s enjoy that video we promised you:
Cool.
I preferred that drone footage we saw two weeks back, but it’s not a competition.
Some cracking visuals in this recent showreel from Step Above, too:
Finally, just so that I’m not forced to write an entire story about it, here’s the video of the African Penguins cruising through Simon’s Town that did the rounds this weekend:

Take a drink (if you have any left) every time someone says ‘we are the virus’.
