Back when the lockdown was just a few days old, we showed you some of the rather interesting antics South Africans were using to keep themselves entertained.
Now that we know we’re in for the long haul, through until the end of April (Thursday, April 30, at 11:59PM, to be precise), these escapes from the mundanity of life are more important than ever.
News24 has been asking readers to send in their “best, funniest and most creative videos” of what’s happening during lockdown, with the winners scoring R500 Takealot vouchers.
This compilation is their third in the series, and shows that we are becoming increasingly creative:
I hope the kid that was booted in the face around the 1:15 mark is doing alright.
You can see the most recent compilations (parts seven and eight) here.
Those wanting to enter, and stand the chance of winning a Takealot voucher, can send their videos, photos, stories, tweets and TikToks to feedback@news24.com, subject line ‘Life under lockdown’, and the best of the bunch will make their video compilations.
You do whatever you need to make it through this, as long as you’re not breaking the lockdown laws, of course.
