UPDATE: South Africa’s lockdown has been extended by a further two weeks, and is now scheduled to end at 11:59PM on Thursday, April 30…

You can watch President Cyril Ramaphosa’s full address below:

This follows a meeting of the COVID-19 National Command Council held yesterday, and various meetings he attended throughout the course of today.

The time of the address has been confirmed by the Presidency’s official Twitter account.

As we know, these things often kick off later than the time given, so there may be some delay before the feed below goes live.
