No pressure from our side.
Those who enjoy a spot of yoga, or are looking to get into yoga, might be stoked to hear that Down Dog, the highest-rated yoga app for use at home, is now free until May 1.
If you visit the app’s site, you’ll be greeted with this:
I’m unsure of the South African pricing, but Down Dog usually costs $8 a month for US users, or $50 a year.
According to the app’s description, you get a brand new yoga routine every time you come to your mat:
Unlike following pre-recorded videos, Down Dog won’t make you do the same workout over and over again. With over 60 000 different configurations, Down Dog gives you the power to build a yoga practice you love!
Based on more than 3 500 reviews, the app scores a cracking 4,9 out of five, making it the top-rated yoga app out there.
I clicked on ‘Yoga for Beginners’ on the site’s homepage, and was greeted with this:
I believe that is a happy face, and not the face of somebody trapped in a pose that they now cannot extricate themselves from.
