With politicians around the world ignoring the warning signs in the months leading up to COVID-19 being declared a global pandemic (and others still doing so), trust in many leaders has really dropped off.
Then there’s Bill Gates, who has been talking about the risk of a global pandemic for the best part of five years (perhaps most famously in this TED Talk from 2015), and seems pretty well-informed on what measures we should look at taking in the weeks and months to follow.
His recent appearance on CNN proved popular, and now he’s joined Trevor Noah on The Daily Show to discuss how to fight the spread of the coronavirus.
It appears that they’ve put their tennis rivalry behind them, and the chat below is full of interesting talking points.
